Summer Fun With Disney
Summer Fun With Disney
when you talk of Disney, you would immediately think of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Cinderella, Snow White, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and all those characters that you have seen on your favorite Disney programs and movies. Wouldn’t it be great if you can see them in person, mingle with them, and get pictures of them? Booking your vacation package to Disney World this summer would make it all possible. You get to be where the action is so you can have a great time in Disney with the characters you so enjoy watching all these years.
Disney character greetings
As you step inside the gates of Disney World, whether at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom or at Hollywood Studios, you would definitely see your favorite Disney heroes as they go around greeting visitors. It would be quite difficult to get that chance photo with them as there is great possibility that when you bump into one, a horde of other Disney fans are sure to immediately gather around. If you check your Disney World vacation packages, you would learn that there are designated areas where the Disney characters can greet kids and have their pictures taken as well as sign their autographs.
Be among the Disney princesses
For little girls meeting your favorite Disney princess would be a dream come true and the best place to meet them is at Magic Kingdom as it is certainly home to Cinderella’s castle. They surely are always about greeting visitors and if you want a more personal encounter with them, why not make reservations for a character themed meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table restaurant with your Vacation package to Disney World. Your little girls would surely be ecstatic to have their pictures taken with different Disney princesses as they glide from table to table mingling with the guests. You can also try the Fairy Tale Garden where you can find Belle and listen to her as she tells the story of Beauty and the Beast at Storytime.
Parade of Disney characters
Even as you are so enthralled with getting the most of your Disney vacation by experiencing all the possible rides you can, there will always be a chance for you to see all the Disney characters. You will definitely not pass the opportunity to stop and gawk at the characters as they make their way down Main Street for the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. You can also check your Disney World vacation package for a schedule of the “SpectroMagic” Parade or the Main Street Electrical Parade. The festive floats, spectacular lights and sounds, and a host of Disney characters would surely be etched in your mind.

San Juan Islands Washington
Like a string of precious pearls,The San Juan Islands located in Washington and Canada are all connected to a fascinating and beautiful experience awaiting you. These Islands are at the top of my list of things to do in the summer. Especially if you like whales & beaches. The average temperatures in the summer are 70 degrees, so its not too hot or too cold. There are three ferry systems to get around the islands.
Friday Harbor is the most popular destination in the San Juan islands. Take an inexpensive ferry from Anacortes Washington, when stepping on the island you will be greeted with the sweet scent of lavender and the beautiful views of the poppies. There are many things you can do on the island, Moped and Bicycle rentals for touring are available. The San Juan county park and Historical museum are just two of many parks and museums. Visit a farmers market that hosts all kinds of great eats. You can tour the Limekiln Lighthouse or visit art galleries. Check out the Theater or charter a fishing excursion but don't forget to do some Orca whale watching! They have the Orcafest in May and the Art Fair in July.Disney World

Visit Florida
Visit Florida
If the year round warm climate is not enough then the many places to visit and things to do should be enough, not to mention the beautiful locals.
Start your visit in Coconut Grove, much similar to Louisiana's French Quarter, this part of town is full of restaurants, clubs, local hangouts and history. The atmosphere is relaxed yet civilized. You can have a nice meal next to the ocean at many locations, stroll and window shop through one of the many stores, or simply sit and listen to music while sipping your favorite libation.
Next is the famous South Beach orMiami Beach which is how is formally known. The over abundance of clubs and restaurants should give anyone more than enough to keep busy. The atmosphere is more relaxed and swimwear is the order of the day. Get hot? then a dip in the beach is just a short walk away. Here you can also count on seeing one of the many celebrities that callSouth Beach their home and off course plenty of eye candy for all.
Not to miss is Key West, The southern most spot in the United States. This is not for the faint at heart, since the saying "anything goes" holds true. CAUTION: I do mean anything goes. Party, drink, swim, eat and revel to your hearts' content. Do take your camera to any of these locations but specially Key West which is famous for its sunsets as well as its abundance of street chickens..yes I said chickens, by now a tourist attraction.
7 Most Mysterious Places in world
7 Most Mysterious Places in world
When we talk about some of the most mysterious places on earth, the first ones that come to mind are places such as Bermuda Triangle, Nazca lines and Stonehenge. But, there are countless other places on earth that are quite mysterious. Did you know that the Great Pyramid at Giza is shrouded by mystery, contrary to popular belief? Here is a list of 7 such places on earth that are quite bizarre and mysterious.
1. Socotra (Horn of Africa)
Socotra (also called Suqutra or Soqotra) is an archipelago of four islands in the Indian Ocean off the horn of Africa. Among the four islands, Socotra is the largest, occupying 95% of the land mass of the archipelago. Why is this island so mysterious? Because, if you set foot here, it may easily remind you of an alien planet from a science fiction movie. One third of the flora and fauna you find here are unique to this island and found nowhere else in the world, such as the umbrella-shaped “blood tree” and certain types of birds as well as cats.
2. Yonaguni (Japan)
Did human “civilization” exist more than 10,000 years ago? I must have gone mad, right? You may not say that after seeing this photo. This is a photo taken underwater off the coast of Yonaguni in Japan. It shows a rock formation which has put all experts' and skeptics' knowledge to test. Rock formations may not be something new. But this rock formation consists certain structures such as a L-shaped stage, staircase (cut perfectly at 90 degree angles), two pillars, two large holes and so on. Recently, the skeptics' claims that the rock formation is a natural one was put to rest by proving that these formations were man made. The real questions now are when was this made, why was it made, what happened to the people that made it, and so on.
3. Mt. Roraima (Brazil)
The mountain lies on the border of three countries viz. Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela. One thing that makes this mountain strange is its shape. What makes it weirder are the clouds and the fauna around the mountain peak. The peak of the mountain is considered as one of the oldest geological formations in the world. The plateau is believed to be formed by water and winds. But there is no explanation for why some of these species cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
4. Bermuda Triangle (North Atlantic Ocean)
As anyone would have guessed, Bermuda Triangle is one of the most mysterious places on earth. Everyone has heard about the Bermuda Triangle and the mysterious disappearances that occur here. Also called the Devil's Triangle, the triangle covers Straits of Florida, Bahamas and the Caribbean islands. Anything that enters this area such as an aircraft or ship is known to mysteriously disappear here. There are numerous theories that try to explain these strange disappearances, ranging from earth's magnetic field to alien activity. Every time, there is a solid explanation about these disappearances, there will be a new theory that negates the explanation. There is no one theory till date that convinces anyone as to why these mysterious disappearances occur.
5. Moguicheng (China)
There are interesting stories surrounding this region. Also known as the Demon City, the region stretches for about 10 km and is located in Xianjiang, China. Stories say that, when you are at this place, you will hear beautiful music which may sound akin to guitar strings and bells. These sounds are known to come out from the rock formations. If you are stuck in a storm however, the sound can even turn into the sound of roaring tigers, crying babies, animals being slaughtered and many others that may send a chill down the spine of even the bravest person. That is, if you believe in stories. Even the rock formations that look like angry demons may instill fear in you.
6. The Giza Pyramids (Egypt)
Everyone knows that the three pyramids of Giza were built by the pharaohs Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre) and Menkaure. Or, is it really the truth? Till a few years ago, this was the accepted theory. But, with more archaeological research, there are new interesting facts about these pyramids coming to light every day. These facts have given way to newer mysteries and newer theories. The mystery starts from the construction of the pyramid of Cheops itself. Then, there are mysteries surrounding the purpose of these pyramids.
There are numerous bizarre theories surrounding the pyramids, especially the pyramid of Khufu. Some say that it was built as an ancient observatory, while some say that it was constructed to store some secret documents pertaining to earth. One bizarre theory claims that the pyramids of Giza resemble the Orion's belt, signifying that our gods were aliens who came from the stars Sirius B and C. Whatever the truth is, the Giza necropolis is one mysterious place.
7. Nazca Lines (Peru)
Nazca in Peru is another mysterious place. The Nazca desert is famous for its mysterious geoglyphs called the Nazca lines. Some of the drawings include a giant spider, a giant monkey and a giant humming bird. There are some more lines that resemble air strips. All these drawings span kilometers together in the desert. The weirder thing is that they are visible as drawings only from the sky. No one knows exactly when these geoglyphs were drawn nor the purpose of these drawings. Scholarly estimate is that they were drawn between 400 and 650 CE. Ancient Alien theorists say that these were the skills taught to the natives by aliens who landed on earth. Skeptics have another stand. But, the mystery remains to this day as to how these giant drawings were made and why they were made.
These are just some of the most mysterious places on earth. Earth is filled with places that no one has ever explored. Who knows what other strange and mysterious places are on earth?
